Maximilian Feldner

Welcome to my website!

I am postdoctoral scholar in English and American Studies, with a focus on literature studies, film studies, and cultural studies.

Primarily based in Graz, Austria, I also studied in New York City and Limerick, Ireland, and currently hold a postdoc position at the TU Dresden.

Besides my book on Nigerian diaspora literature, Narrating the New African Diaspora. 21st Century Nigerian Literature in Context (2019, Palgrave Macmillan), I have published articles in the fields of English-language narrative fiction, popular music, and film.

In my research I focus on cultural representations of the city, postcolonial literatures, and popular culture and music.
